I can just about remember the tail end of Beattie's career when he lost to Scott Le Deoux and got stopped? ko'd? but he seemed fairly durable. I have seen Mike White, but only on youtube, while following various other fighters on a who-fought-who basis, and I see him as a trialhorse fighter tbh. Come competition time, I would give Beattie a wide UD.

Yeah Mike white was pretty sad to watch. I saw two of his fights when I was in high school. One where he outpoint ****y Ryan and then losing to Michael Moorer. Not a man who despite his great size I'd favor over too many people.

Ah yes, his loss to MM was indeed a forgettable bout. I can also remember him starting out as a pro fighter and was at first being hyped up as a future contender. I can see the picture of him in my mind in Boxing Illustrated, posing with his hands on his hips. When he started to lose he was forgotten about.
