Skillful but lack of power is gonna prevent him going all the way.

I sometimes wonder what they doing in training. He seems to be worse now than when he started out as a pro.

Nice skills but looked exactly the same to me as he did against Paul Smith.

Surrounded by too many yes men.

Yeah I don't think he's anything special. Always seems kinda sloppy and lacking in physical and/or mental stamina/endurance. I don't think his power is too bad because there have been quite a few successful boxers without great power. He also seems to take a decent shot but there's just nothing outstanding about him, he's just awkward to fight. When he gets all ****y he seems like such a twat.

    James Defail , That's brilliant .
I keep watching him expecting to see something in him but it never happens.

Froch would flatten him. At least he's not on the ropes as much

Degale makes for unwatchable television...i switched off after a few rounds.

Now with Fury gone it's a shame for boxing to have Degale representing it on terrestial televsion. I would much rather watch some exciting unknowns fight then boring guys like Degale and Eubanks.

Remember Froch struggled with Adamu well into his 20's. DeGale was in with a top fighter there. I feel he'd benefit from a more proven trainer but if he got the S & C right he will be a real threat.
