James Degale fights someone called Fidel Monterrosa Munoz on

This is actually quite sad.

Assuming he gets past through this test, I would like to see James take the biggest money fight he can get and call it a day.

 

I don't get it, why's he fighting this guy?

 

Not the most likeable of characters can remember him gloating over groves loss to Jack offering something silly like a 90 10 split
How quickly can fall from grace maybe if bit more humble could have got a decent last payday. Cant see who will give him one or does winner off groves Smith think be a good win on ther record. Or has he fell so far even a cej or fielding beat him now

 

I assume that this is a tune up fight before another big fight for him lined up not too far away?

 

Degale is totally shot and should really just retire

 

He priced himself out of a fight against fielding which surely would have paid better than this then if he came through that he would be a so called “world champion” and could have chased a big final payday against Eubank jr who I’m sure would jump at the chance too fight a shot Degale and become a world champion.

Eubank had no problem claiming he was a world champion when he held the IBO and he would do the same with the regular title

 

He tweeted after this fight he has something juicy lined up in december!

With this tune up being in the states on a haymon card surely this " juicy " fight he is talking about is another Haymon card which makes me think it is on the Fury Wilder card?
