Yeah, the defense is a real stand-out point for me. It's not great obviously, but it's far better than we are often used to seeing from prospects, especially at British title sort of level. Offensively a lot of prospects look good and have flaws defensively, his rival Groves for me falls into that similar category, but DeGale looks seasoned beyond his 9 pro fights going into that. Very impressive.

 

I think DeGale would outclass the likes of Groves in similar fashion.
