James Degale got a massive GIFT last night?

    Am i the only one outraged about that decision? I though the french dude clearly won by 3 or 4 rounds!

    The judges that scored 119-109 and 117 111 should never judge again!

    I disn't see it. Hoe did James look?. I dont put any stock in him at Pro level at all.

    He CANNOT fight on the inside at all.. that's the problem... he took a lot of shots from a guy that was quite slow and telegraphed..

    He looked unfit and lay on the ropes most of the fight but most of the french lads punches landed ongloves and arms, De Gale landed all the clean punches in bunches.

    He looked ok.. some of his combinations and his handspeed were impressive but nothing that makes me think he's elite... and he CANNOT fight on the inside.. he looks clueless when he s under pressure

    A lot of Degales punches landed on gloves and arms as well but the commentators kept saying they were landing clean :patsch

    Not a gift, but the fight was closer than indicated. He deserved the win in my opinion.

    Degale landed the better shots, all the other guy had was workrate and he was tough, he was just walking forward not really landing much of note, i do think the score cards were a bit wide though, the other guy won at least 4 rounds.

    I don't like DeGale (who does?) but I thought he clearly won. I could maybe see it being 115-113 but I didn't think there was any way to score it against him.

    This. But it wasn't a very impressive display at all. He keeps talking about world title fights next year but it wasn't easy for James last night, and I certainly can't see Ward, Froch, Kessler or Bute being troubled much by him.

    I thought james won by about 2 maybe 3, but yeah the scoring was a joke, same in most home countrys sadly it seems now

    Degale won but showed he is not all that special, good fighter thats it...Froch would KO him easy....
