Maybe I need to watch again :think

No way was it anywhere near 119 109 or 117 111 though... those scores were disgraceful

    Degale clearly won. No controversy

It wasn't a gift but the scorecards were ridiculous.

I had Degale up by two.

115-113 would have been fair, but not a chance it was a ****ing gift. Degale proved a number of things last night, he proved he has skill and speed in abudance, he also proved he is with the wrong trainer to teach him ring IQ and that he needs to work on fitness. It ironic that Adam Booth would most likely be the best trainer for him...

Good fight, but Degale deserved the win.

I am a bit surprised at the lack of power in Degale's shots. He threw some massive hands and landed good combos, sometimes good hooks from awkward angles right on the tip of the Frenchman's chin that looked like legit KO punches but he didn't budge.

Either the guy had a granite chin or Degale is slapping more than punching. Not sure.

Degale slaps with allot of his punches and doesnt properly close the glove when sitting down on his punches, makes me wonder if he has hand problems.

When DeGale throws those shots from awkward angles, he doesn't look like he's stepping into them or turning them over. When you're throwing punches like that, they effect opponents through the element of surprise and by landing cleanly - they're rarely knockout shots unless you have natural power like Hamed.

When DeGale does move into his shots, I think they can be quite hurtful, especially when you factor in his handspeed.

Unless Degale learns how to fight and negate an opponent on the inside he s not going to be world class.. seriously needs to work on his inside fighting

It was closer than what 2 of the judges had it (119-109 was a joke) but DeGale still deserved the win in my book.

    Degale won

But he will not accomplish anything as a pro. He is heading the way of Audley Harrison

Workrate is one thing but the classier work was from DeGale all night. He made it hard work for himself but he was a much better fighter last night. I had it 8-4 to DeGale.
