Byrdnelo is ducking the rematch with triple God.

My favourite part of the OP was when isal thought 'YouTube' & 'google' were sources.

well, to be sure DeGale won his title earlier MUCH earlier than 3G did, so he wins that round.

And to be sure his opposition was sterner over his run.

But then he screwed up and lost to a calibre of guy that 3G used to beat up when he was a mere euroguy.

So, in summary DeGale wins the sprints by a fair margin, but it looks like 3G won the marathon. Chunky won the battles that counted but 3G won the war.

Persoanlly it looks like Chunky just burnt himself out by thinking he could coast to wins, then finding it wasnt true and having to dig deep to save himself. He did it one time too many. Perhaps he thought he was charmed, I dunno, but he trusted too much in non existent lucking out too often. Perhaps being both an amateur and pro star went to his head.

Chunky perhaps never had the mindset for the long term career.

Well there was no claim that DeGeale would be Golovkin, just that unlike Golovkin, DeGeale and severall other fighters are willing to attempt to carve out a legacy by taking risks.

    theres not a lot, sure.

if Chunky had kept it up he'd have surpassed 3G, but it seems that 3G, by taking the slow lane in his career, wins the long run.

The only reason GGGs name is known at the level it is now is because Martinez had to retire and Canelo needed a rival.

well yeh PLUS he also unified the title, no mean feat.

I think if you dont think that bears thought then you may be thinking to downplay 3G.

Hes a very latestarter for sure, but he reached a genuine level in the end, you cant question that.

8 recognised defences is a pretty good effort for any division.

I'm not by any means insinuating he's abum, or that he han't had any significant accomplishments, I'm saying he sold his legacy short by 1. waiting for a payday and 2. by refusing to truly take risks, such as fighting Ward.

I'm really curious to what these so called risks are as opposed to what Golovkin has done or achieved.
