A year later and GGG has fought Canelo for more than the 8m offer and Degale lost to a pressure fighter that Jacobs won every round on and knocked out.
Are you saying Degale saying he's willing to drop weight to fight a smaller opponent is the "risk" you are speaking of?
According to you and a bunch of Goons, JCCjr dropping 3.5 pounds to make 164.5 was a huge disadvantage. According to the same Goons, dropping to 154, or 155 would hinder GGG's physical ability. Why do you Goons sing a different tune when its convenient for you?
I've never said anything of the sort. So would you say Golovkin calling out Floyd, willing to go to 154 was a risk?
barely makes weight at a wasteland division. got beaten by an also ran who moved up. degale"s bravest feat is running his mouth and getting in the ring, without the ability to back it up.
Of course it is. But the way Goons were calling it was that GGG is a Tiny MW who would have no issues moving down, just like they said Ward should move down to 164 for GGG, but when Canelo made JCCjr move down 3.5 pounds from his last fight he was fighting a walking corpse. Bottom line, ANY fighter moving down any weight MAY pose a disadvantage in more than one way, and any real boxing fan who has watched enough boxing and uses logic and common sense will agree to this.
But Degale NEVER moved down....as GGG didn't......so hasn't Golovkin taken just as many risks as Degale?
