vs Lemieux GGG got 2mill and Lemiuex got 1.5mill that aint the short end either

    GGG 5mill BROOK 5mill
    Ggg 2mill Wade 500k
    GGG 1.5mill Monroe jr 100k
    GGG 350k Macklin 300k
    GGG 750k Geale 600k
    GGG??? Rosado 200k
GGG 1mill Rubio 350k (was initially 900k-450k but rubio missed weight)

Thats all i could be bothered finding but he ain't taking short money in any of these fights?

Who did he take short money against?
Ffs he wants 50% against Canelo!!!!

If it was fair Gennady -Pollo should be 80/20 in GGG's favor 75/25 if Pollo lasts 4 rounds

You name one. GGG has yet to call anyone's bluff, and contradicted himself by saying Brook was too small, and fighting him anyways. That's GGG in a nutshell, full of contradictions.

Golovkin was by far the bigger draw and neither of those opponents make that much when they usually fight. You have to factor that in. When people are talking about Golovkin taking the short money they mean before he came to America when he was still more popular than the guys he was fighting. I've read that there have been times where Golovkin fought for nothing just to try to get a name for himself. Kovalev has done the same thing now that I think about it.

Kovalev wasn't a stand out amateur like GGG so he had to work harder.

GGG has always been paid better than his opponents and Lemiuex was just as big of a star as GGG, he's a household name in Canada (which is a rich country that borders the USA, unlike Kazakhstan which is a poor country 99.99% of Americans could not point at on a map)

GGG doesn't ever take risks or budge on price thats why he struggles to make fights!!!!!

Canelo took 30% against Cotto to make that fight!!!!

If Degale is putting GGG to shame then what the hell has GGG done to your boy Canelo?

I'll tell you what he's took Canelo's soul.

This thread is ******ed. Just another fighter trying to get people talking about him by mentioning GGG's name and the demographic/ Canelo fanboys with an axe to grind jump all over it. In the same interview he also says he wants Ward and Kovalev.

Degale has a unification fight with Jack planned for January and mean while GGG is taking on the top threat in his own division, having paid the contender approximately 10% more than his fair share to persuade him to step into the ring with him. Following which the Canelo fight is likely to happen in September once the negotiations have been concluded.

If Degale seriously wants to move down to middleweight and crash that schedule then he needs to get in touch with team GGG and make a firm fight proposal for them to consider, rather than randomly throwing out names to English language websites that Golovkin is unlikely to read. Even then, team GGG would be best advised to demand that he proves himself at middleweight first, since in the event of an early Golovkin win, the demographic would simply flip their earlier argument on its head and whinge about how GGG drained a super middle down to 160 and won't give up anything in negotiations. Meanwhile, the same people expected him to fight Ward at 168 in the states with 4 American officials and no tuneups for a 50/50 purse!!!

He said he'd do it, but until he does it then it's meaningless. The same way people bring up GGG's 154-168 stuff from like 2012 or whenever it was. He didn't move either direction so people (rightly) discredit the statement.

Jacobs is one of the best fights than can be made and he's fighting him so why the hate.

See what happens in that fight before future fights are made.
