Not mad at anything just see it what what it is, a bit of media hyperbole nothing more nothing less. The sad desperation of you Canelo lovers who jump all over something as nondescript as this in a desperate attempt to muddy the name of the guy you are petrified of is simply pathetic. That's all.
5 years ago he was still banned from fighting in the US or Germany - and despite this he was doing things like offering to fight the likes of Barker for free in the UK and pursuing then (interim)titlist N'Dam in France. Whether you think he should be trying harder now (despite just landing Jacobs) the lengthy history of efforts he made to land top opponents in the past is well documented. GGGs problem is that until very recently he was just too high risk, too low reward. Sure I think he should accept the Canelo offer (if it comes with guarantees) and perhaps he should look at moving to 168 but you manage to make it sound as if the lack of top names on his resume is a matter of design rather than - in the main - misfortune. I think you're way off the mark.
Moving down in weight is even more dangerous/risky than moving up. Taking crazy risks like that is what every serious fighter does to become a star. Staying in once place and feasting on bums while crying for a payday is NOT the way to do it, though Golovkin is proving it can be done just as long as you gather an idiotic fan base.
Who can GGG fight - then or now - that will put him in "the Red Head's shoes?" Then tell me who would be favored in those fights. The naysayers want him to fight everyone at every weight class, but only the best at 160. First it was Lemieux. Now Jacobs. Then it will be Saunders and/or Canelo. Each guy was/is a test leading up to the fight, then B/C level fodder after he's done with them. His goal was always to unify 160. Why he didn't do that already is most likely no fault of his own. Once he does, and sets the MW defense record, he's going to 168. I don't get how people can call him a diva or a ducker when his opponents usually get career high paydays and he goes to their hometown for the fight. Most guys who call him out are just doing it for attention, especially those at 154 and 168.
You're know you're full of ****. ''I have to respect that. A fighter willing to sacrifice an advantage just to get a shot a proving his greatness." that a lie because you never gave Mayweather credits. You Canela and ggg apologist need to man the phuck up and demand your heroes to start taking chances.
LOL as usual try to dodge the question . Brook challenged Gennady when all the 160 fairies were dancing round their toadstools. Brook actually outweighed Gennady fight night BTW
Golovkin was fighting Eubank, but Eubank chickened out, so Brooks took the fight...............El Pollo, Cotto, Martinez, Jacobs, Saunders, Quillin would not fight him.....................finally Golovkin got Jacobs to fight him, but he wants Saunders next, then El Pollo ASAP.............................
Been saying for the longest time that he should fight DeGale. He won't though. Also, DeGale would be the biggest money fight he could make outwith Canelo - would, again, be PPV in the UK.
