    From the scene.

Pretty big leap for James Degale to take on a 30 fight veteran in Paul Smith. How do you see this fight going?

Thats a big step up, pretty early on for DeGale.

I think he's the goods and can do it, but its actually a very dangerous task for a fighter who is still very, very young. Smith has ability, has some power, and can get rough in there. Everything a guy needs if he's gonna make it rough on a more talented but much greener foe.

This is a good fight. James DG on points, but probably see's the canvas.

Degale's got bags of ability and i have never, and i mean never, understood the dislkie for him in the UK. It's based on little evidence - the boy's a fast talker but nothing more. He's very respectful most of the time, articulate, talented, hard working and won an Olympic Gold. He's silenced his early pro critics already with a string of decent performances and leap up in class - people need to give the guy a break.

I feel that paul smith is well past it, hes taken such a beating from his fights that i think hes done really, and i think frank warren knows.

Should be a decent fight never the less.

i'm not big on khan either but i think khan is easily more talented then degale, with khan he can be flashy and show a bit of skill at times degale is absolutely **** and is just hype imo there both wankers as uv rightly pointed out

DeGale is talented, but he is a f*cking idiot.
He needs a Khan/Prescott moment of clarity.

Degale easy UD, or stoppage if the normal standard of referee.

Smith has made hard work of domestic fighters, giving the nornal i cant get up for this level talk. We will see how true that is as Degale is class and has improved massively in the last year as he has got used to the pro's.

Quite similar to the Fury step up against McDermott and I'd say it'll go the same way...except with Degale rightfully winning on a scrappy points decision.
