James Degale Talks George Groves And Different Style

it is interesting though what degale said about the rankings with another couple of defence of the european he becomes the mandatory for the world title and if groves has it they have to fight which could happen in 12 months time would be a win win situation for frank ****** and its one the british boxing public would want to see im sure degale would win a thrid meeting though.

 

i think he was quite poor againts that pole who proved to be no mug in his next fight againts abraham(which i scored him to win imo) but Groves has only fought once since that fight and beat Paul Smith a very small SMW with a punch i believe he walked onto so the jury is still out but we should have a better idea of where the two are at after may the 5th when they have both boxed.

 

I've gone full circle on DeGale. Post-Olympics I quite liked him, after the Smith & Groves fight I turned on James but now I find him hilarious, he's like a bumbling comic-book bad guy who ****s everything up but still insists he's unbeatable.

Him & Jimmy Mac are a match made in heaven, guaranteed comedy when ever he opens his mouth.

In the future we'll look back fondly on gems such as "the butures fright" & "my brains too clever"

yeah your right about that groves never says hes the finished article unlike degale who claimed at one point only two men in the world could outbox him which i think he meant Andre Ward and Mikkel Kessler, and he was still saying he was on course to win a world title within a year after losing to groves (which he did lose despite what he says) but i think it will be a case of third time lucky if he meets groves again,although id love to see him lose it and just to see what he says in the post fight press conference.

 

he got wobbled by that pole and the kid hes fighting saturday is a step down in class i think degale needs groves to win a world title now to have any chance of winning a world title to be honest because his team and ****** seem scared to give him a step up because they were mouthing off about the abraham fight but look who they are fighting saturday lol.

 

it wont work at all his punnches are tip tappy slaps as it is, he is a good fighter but he doesnt throw his punches correctly especially his hooks they are very slappy as is his left hand

 

I don't even no what I feel about him any more. I was a fan previously, and backed him to spank Groves. I didn't care he was the villain in the fight. But after he lost, he went off on one. 'controversial loss', 'people keep tellin me I one', 'how can you fight like that and win' etc etc. it's getting boring now. Take your defeat like a ****ing man, learn from it, and improve from it. Stop bitching
