It doe's seem that way, I think Groves may have had a point when he said Degale needs people around him bigging him up or he mentally unfolds.

I really dislike Degale, but would like to see him go far, hope he can make adjustments to his style..But under Jimmy Mac I think he has no chance.

Chunky needs to humble himself, he could be the daft ***** that he is, If he was really talented, thing is, he's not.

I do hope we get to see a third fight between these two alot of people are saying Groves will stop Degale now hes seen his vulnerability after he was rocked severly in his last fight im not sure.
Although i do know one thing Degale is very wary of Groves body shots

I can understand why people dislike when he comes out with stupidity. Funny thing is people meet him and walk away saying 'what a gent...'. He does a lot for AM boxing in London as well donating gear and sparring youngsters still like Kirk Garvey etc.

Wish he'd just get nut down, and show the talent he's got.

People can act strange when a camera is put in front of them, some people pull a silly face all the time, some people shy away and hide, some act like complete cocks, its all due to the power of the camera.

Ive never been filmed on tape so I don't know how Id act, saying that the only program Im likely to be seen on is the ****ing news, so Im not sure I want to find out?

Agreed - on camera he still retains his title as P4P the biggest **** in boxing. But then he could well be a decent guy off camera, he certainly played up to his character during the Groves build-up.

Yep agree Tom, The fight wouldn't of been so big on PPV and in ticket sales if there wasn't a bad guy and needle feel IMO.

Thought he edged the Groves fight for a start and many others did, close fight.

Biggest problem I don't think he acts it up.

He generally is that deluded. His ego cannot handle a loss.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is charming, articulate and genuine off-camera from what I've heard from those who have interviewed him. He's also got serious problems with his temper, likes to bully people and, of course, hits women. The first sentence does not rule out the last one.

Meeting someone for a quick chat doesn't give you the measure of the man, their actions do. DeGale's true personality has been on display whenever he feels he's got the upper hand. His behaviour towards Groves wasn't promotion, he was trying to bully the younger man.

    That's who he is.
