The Dirrell that got robbed against Froch was not the same Dirrell that DeGale beat.

DeGale was awful from the fifth onwards in my opinion. Got it badly wrong tactically, made the fight far harder for himself than he needed to. Why he started to box on the back foot and throw away rounds is beyond me. Any time he took the centre of the ring his power back Dirrell up.

For me DeGale has improved and moved forward after beating a very good boxer in Dirrell. Groves is a classy boxer too but he is damaged goods after two losses (one bad KO) against Froch. I would favour DeGale beating Froch. Barring Ward, DeGale is number two in the division now.

I watched it and Dirrell looked sharp in the ring. DeGale is quite dangerous in the ring and has improved a lot over the years. Yes, he could have upped it a little more, but after suffering a couple of heavy knock downs in the second, he did well to get back into it.

I'll give credit to DeGale, he made it a tough fight for Dirrell. DeGale is a tricky fighter and isn't easy to hit, plus he seems to have improved his power. Unless Groves goes back to his original self, I can see DeGale KO'ing him.

Oh and this version of Dirrell is good enough to UD Froch.

Groves beats him again and makes it 3-0.

As much as it pains me to say it i think Groves beats him again.

Dirrell didn't look anything like he did pre Abraham against DeGale, yet he still outboxed DeGale for large parts of the fight.

Groves fought off the back foot last time, and looked to counter. Will he be as explosive as he was against Froch first time out, or will he look to box behind the jab again ?

Could be an interesting fight, both can bang, but Groves looks the heavier puncher if he chooses to plant his fight which he didn't do first time araound.

I honestly don't think DeGale gassed as people say he did against Dirrell. He didn't look exhausted to the naked eye. I think taking his foot off the pedal being so far ahead was a mental thing not a physical one.

Groves may come back revitalised from his lay off, if he can get back to near the level of the first Froch fight I can see him on points. If he performs like against Douglin he'll lose.

Only if he follows his own blue print and fight off back foot and force chunky to lead, if that happens chunky in a whole load of trouble
