Pass me whatever you are smoking. Gonzales was one of the worst mandatories I have ever seen. Both Smiths and Fielding beat him.
DeGale on points, for me he has improved vastly the last 18 months. Conditioning of both could be the key for me.DeGale to take over the fight after the middle rounds,he will have to he is getting no gifts from the judges same for any fighter away from home.
Dirrel will run and clinch his way to an incredibly dull and frustrating points win. I'm expecting plenty of boo's from the crowd because of the lack of action, lets hope i'm wrong and Degale delivers the action.
I hope Degale does the job tonight and Groves beats Jack on a few months, setting up a unification fight between the two. Not to knock Degale, but has he improved as much as we're being lead to believe since his sub-par performances on Channel 5 especially by Hearn & Matchroom. Gonzales is far from a world beater, prior to his fight with Degale I'd seen him fight twice before and didn't rate him. Then Periban rolled up after seemingly spending the last 4 weeks clearing out KFC's stock of chicken!
I also agree with what Tony Bellew recently tweeted. Degale should stick it on Dirrell to take the early rounds, then in the later rounds make Dirrell come to him as he's not as good coming forward.
