I don't even think it's fighting down to opponents any more, I think it's **** poor preparation, I always think these fighters with nicknames that suggest a lack of preparation always burn out too quickly, like Fun Time.

James DeGale is finished, he was finished before the Jack fight. Real shame, he was the best Brit p4p only last year

People are forgetting the war that was badu jack vs degale. That was a brutal fight that took a lot out of degale, knocking his front teeth out, breaking his nose, a lot of brain trauma.

I have to admit based on that, Eubank would steamroll DeGale.

Still, I don't think this fight ever happens after Groves lights him up!

I wouldn't be surprised if Rosado did beat him. CEJ isn't fit to lace prime DeGale's boots.

ROFL Gilberto, Benavidez, Jesse Hart, Callum Smith, ancient Braehmer and even those bums the Dirrell brothers would paddle his ass

I think this is a big reminder that just because we have so many british prospects, they're all largely untested at world level and that is that. James Degale was world level but was never the full package, never outright brilliant and it showed. I'm interested to see how Degale reacts to this loss. Personally I think he needed a loss but only if he learns from it rather than change his trainer/promoter.

Carl Frampton a dud? Settle down mate.

For such a weird observation...it's surprisingly spot on.

You've hit the nail on the head

It could easily be all she wrote for DG.

With his advanced age (31), in a stacked division, and clearly his output and stamina in fights which has always been a weakness, is not going to improve now. It can only get back to what it was 2 years ago pre-Jack. This night was a clear slippage backwards in level which oftens happens with age and injuries as fighters begin to slide.

If he comes back and does something, its going to involve a lot of hard work and he needs to get himself recovered physically from the injury (that remains to be seen too)

Still no evidence of a glass jaw pal. You clearly have an agenda and something personal against CEJ. I don't care for him either way wether he's good or bad but he hasn't shown any sign of a glass jaw that's just nonsense

He got slightly rocked by Saunders, O'Sullivan and Blackwell, most missed it, his reaction was subtle because Eubank has a good poker face, but I'm eagled eyed, I catch everything.

I've actually sparred his brother Sebastian and Lerrone Richards and I've been told by numerous other reliable sources other than them exactly what went down. CEJ was also knocked out by a domestic level LMW in 2015.
