I like De Gale in this but im not on his bandwagon completley just yet , Groves is a good solid fighter , just as good as De Gale IMO and cannot be overlooked !!! , i think the De Gale hype is getting a little bit out of hand , its mainly based on De Gale's dazzling performance against Paul Smith , a B level MW , Groves TKO'd a the hard nosed Anderson but got a few wobbles along the way , arguably a tougher test than Smith IMO , De Gale's last tune up was a bit of a joke while again Groves pasted a guy 13 & 1 not somebody 7 & 12 !!!

That was against a not very well prepared Anderson, i think if Anderson had a couple of months to prepare to face Degale, he would still get taken out more handily than Groves managed IMO

If i had the skills that Degale has i would want to fight both and clean up the domestic scene, but probably Smith before Anderson.

I pray its Groves but I have a bad feeling it will be DeGale

DeGale is a special fighter, great defence, Mayweather peak-a-boo style and awesome power

I would love Groves to win and wipe that smug look of DeGales face

Yes i understand your point and i see what you were trying to get at, but the fact is Anderson had little time to prepare and i still think Degale would dispose of Anderson easier than Groves did e.g. without getting knocked down. My point basically is that Degale would beat everyone on the domestic scene, if i get proven wrong i will gladly admit that i was wrong.

Groves has fought tougher opposition , you can presume to presume but the fact is De Gale has had it quite easy , im not saying its been that tough for Groves either he has just fought better opponents than De Gale has at this stage IMO ..............

To that end , he cannot be written off , but i happen to agree with you , and i voted De Gale also !!

I really cant stand Degale, really hope groves can pull this one off....been a big fan of his since turning pro. The Kenny fight made my trip to Manchester worth it and i thank him for that!

That being said I think Degale will probably win a UD but i wouldnt put it past Groves getting a stoppage.

Yeah, let's not get carried away, however he did look great in a series of fights lately, showing a lot of maturity and improvement. Still needs to work on his D and get rid of the illegal tactics, but he did impress very much in a fight that was supposed to be a real test at this stage.

Yeah he trys to fight like David Haye, that is his problem gloves are far to low, but he is quite entertaining and i am looking forward to this one. :good
