Yes.

 

Groves always seems luthargic and static, his fitness looks poor, so does his style. He has got serious flaws. Degale hit the nail on the head when he said he wants to be like Haye. I think Degale beating him might come as a blessing in desguise, coz otherwise he'd probably go 30-0 undefeated fighting bums and getting worse.

Sorry Jim.. how long ago was/is Mayweather? Not quite 20 years me thinks?

But right now I'd agree DeGale is up there talent wise with anyone in boxing. But it doesn't work like that. There are many that are as talented as DeGale with or without hype. It's about applying that talent and coming through fights with impressive wins.

DeGale hasn't done anything miraculous in professional boxing and if he keeps getting fed this kind of crap it will be his undoing and he could become one of boxing's biggest jokes in recent times.

I only hope that behind all this "ugly kid" talk and his trainer already talking him up as Britain's greatest ever boxer is James DeGale working really hard to improve his flaws, because he does have them.

He still can't even punch properly for starters and hasn't genuinely knocked out anyone.
