Uzcat beats the DeGale that we've seen in his last two fights. I don't think it would be that competitive if that version of DeGale turns up.

Uzcat would just slowly roast DeGale, which is terrible because I actually like DeGale but he looks like he has had one too many tough fights, he looks worn and tired and Uzcat looks fresh, full of himself and hungry.

He would walk through degale at this stage imo. I'm a big fan of Uzga. Not the most technical but a fan friendly style

De Gale looks ready for the taking now. Hard to see him getting the win especially if it goes away from home

He better home Uzcategui will take some step aside money and let him get a pay day vs Saunders before he loses his belt.

Degale would suffer a career ending defeat against this lad. It doesn’t please me saying it but Degale is finished at world or even fringe world level. I would put him behind the likes of Groves, Smith, Eubank Jn domestically. I think Ryder would see him off too.
He threw a lot more jabs in that second Truax fight but there was no authority behind it. Slappy combinations against gloves and shoulders won’t stop Uzcategui walking through him.

Can't see Degale taking this fight, think he'll drop the belt and move up!

De Gale is completely shot and if he had any sense he would retire.

The party boy lifestyle has caught up with him.

If he wants to be pulverised by up and comers as a stepping stone gatekeeper then he can still carry on....most in his situation will fight on too long

Time for James to hang them up.

He had a decent career and got by pretty much exclusively on talent. I'll always wonder how far he could have gone with a proper trainer and better attitude but we'll never know.

Exactly my point.....gold medalist and world champ and he’s nowhere in any discussion about UK greats or relevant modern day fighters or mega fights!

Ok you make a good point about that. Even so i don't think he can be called a failure. He could be mentioned in a mega fight with George groves at the end of the year.

Im not a huge Degale fan. I think he had loads of talent just mismanaged in certain parts of his career. I wouldn't put him in the bracket of a failure.
