Granados stayed dedicated and trained hard and he gets my props, but top prospects don't lose to guys like him-no offense to Granados.

Ironically, there's a video on Youtube: "How to beat a swarmer" featuring Imam.

In the video, which is quite good, Imam does all the things he failed to do against Granados (e.g. jab, lateral movement, etc.)

Yeah! Stiverne and Bundrage no longer titlists, Guillermo Jones stripped and disgraced, Cloud stopped twice in a row and retired, Imam kissing a title shot goodbye...

and by the way, the "Floyd Mayweather style" -- only geniuses and James Toney need apply. Don't try it at home.

Imam couldn't fight inside, and got exposed.

However, this is a stark reminder to not overhype a prospect bowling over weak competition.

What I think caught so many people's imaginations was Imam being a boxing historian and a genuine fan, and he looked like a throwback from the golden age. Obviously he's been exposed quite a bit tonight, but he's still got the tools to be a good boxer

DeGale should handle Bute (lets hope).

Then again Wladimir Klitschko lost today so we were all reminded once more that anything is possible.

he thought he could. Also a case of "falling in love with your power". He underestimated Grandos's chin.

No doubt, that's why I wasn't that hyped up over Kudryashov. I still have faith in Khytrov getting his s*** together though.

Pernell, Toney, and Benton did it better imo.
