Just seen this confirmed on bn twitter as well.

Apparently the coming off a loss rule no long applies

They have allowed people do it before. Affif Belgecham fought Barker for it coming off a one sided loss to Andy Lee.

This is a good fight for DeGale. Nice to see ****** putting him right back in there. It's not as if he was thoroughly outclassed by Groves. Groves won a razor thin decision.

I think the rule was put in after Belgecham fought Barker.

Slow move from Hayemaker there. Cuts of a route to a title for Groves.

Oh I see. Pretty laughable if that's the case. Fwank working is magic again.

I don't understand why he isn't getting Gavin these opportunities.

The coming off a loss 'rule' was ridiculous anyway. Presumably DeGale could beat me in the mean time and that would mean he's eligible to fight for the title again :patsch

The way Groves spoke the other day i got impression they might have a international opponent for him.

    Brinkley perhaps? something like that...

    Good move by Frank btw.

Disagree, staying at british level is the right thing to do for Groves, he can rematch Anderson and fight Jeffries.

Is this Polish fella any good? He's got a win over Asikainen but was stopped by Curtis Stevens a few years ago and Stevens isn't all that.

What's the odds that DeGale wins and they says he's a level above Groves cos he's Euro champ whereas George is 'only' British champ? :hey
