james degale...why does he have to be such an a-hole?!

    Um, I wouldn't exactly say DeGale calling Groves ugly kid and talking a bit of **** (quite frankly, fairly childish and mild ****) would be the prime reason for crowd disturbance. That would be idiots. Drunk idiots at that.

    Even if this was the case, it can't be justified by what DeGale has spoken in the buildup. These people just have to be written off as ******s.

    i absolutely agree.it's all staged.but there's a lot of impressionable folk out there get totally immersed in this 'this is serious bad blood' hype **** and come out on the night bent on fighting the opponents supporters-i've seen it before on more than one occasion.i think it's irresponsible and unnecessary.real boxing fans don't need the hype to know this is a true 50/50 fight between 2 top quality fighters.degale makes himself look like a complete dolt the way he carries on.if this was football,(or any other sport for that matter)he'd be suspended for bringing the game into disrepute,and rightly so.

    :lol: Man you can't compare it to football. Thats a nonsense. They wear shin pads, pink boots, kick a ball of leather around. It's a game. This is a fighting sport. They're going to war, their career depends on it. Not for a game of tiddlywinks or polo. There is going to be talk, mental strength, technical strength, physical strength, it all plays its part when two men are fighting each other for a living. It's been happening since the sport began and its not going to suddenly stop.

    Yes I think DeGale is annoying and his antics are quite childish but...

    a) I dont think this is a 50/50 fight.
    b) Bad blood sells fights.
    c) Get over it. Its boxing.

    Haye is doing a very similar thing to the Klits. It is what makes the fights. You are obviously just upset cos Groves is your man and dont like the schoolboy put downs.

    The last 3 superstars we have had: Hatton, Khan, and Haye. 2 of them are decent Hatton and Khan. Yes I know people dont like Hatton for frankly bizzare reasons, but neither Hatton or Khan ever act like a total knob that Haye does towards his opponents.

    Why Cockneys feel the total need to turn their boxing prospects into Pantomine Villains is beyond me.

    I agree with the ugly ginger boy and that . I thnk he needs to grow up man .Groves is alright .Degale wants to be more popstar than boxer.

    I just don't think i'll look forward to his post fight interviews as much .I'll look forward to his fights though .He needs to come from boy to man .He still stays with his mum and dad though and tbh I think that could be part of the reason why he just seems a bit immature to me .
