Degale is a nice lad, he went over the top with the Groves fight but that did Groves a massive favour IMO. Obviously it will take time, but i think people will start to like Degale again

They are just Haters, James Degale will be a man on a mission and I wish him best of luck not that he will need it because his skills will take him to a world champion.:good

First of all, the Pole won a vacant title, not something to get excited about. and Groves is the one who should be fighting for the Euro title not Defail.

I know I can be harsh on people, but even that would have been a little unfair.

I hope he gets beat tonight he doesnt deserve to be fighting for the european title, groves does.... All this bull**** about degale winning the fight against groves was rubbish Groves won by three rounds. Fact....

dont worry, im sure degale will offer groves a european title shot after tonight, he needs to put the ugly kid ghost to bed before he can move onto bigger things.

Over the top? He acted like a school bully. The guy is a grade-A ****. If I act like a dick to everyone at work, do you think they go "well, he's nice out of work"?

You are one person and how you behave publicly and privately defines you. You can't pick and choose.

DeGale was pathetic. From just disliking him he's now become the first (and hopefully only) boxer I hate. That is who he is, 100% and he's learnt nothing.

He'll have won the title from a truly mediocre opponent. Similar to how DeGale won the British, funnily enough. That tells you plenty.

Anyway, Groves won't be interested. He's got bigger fish to fry. He beat DeGale twice now.

I hear from lots of sources that DeGale is supposedly 'A nice guy' outside the ring (I've met him and he was sound as a pound, my uncle helped train him for the Olympics and didn't have a bad word to say about him), makes you wonder why he feels the need to cultivate this persona of being a massive **** inside the ring then?

If you are genuinely a nice bloke then why not be one, you aren't gonna win many fans over acting like a bell end all the time

Unless of course he is actually a massive **** and the nice guy routine is the act

It's not like Degale is the one running away from Groves it's Groves running away from James Degale.
