it wouldnt be the truly mediocre opponent degale made look silly???

groves did a job on degale, but in terms of abilty and skill, degale is much quicker and stronger and the tactics in a rematch, degale would win. the last fight went down to 1 point on 2 judges scorecards didnt it?

 

How do you work that one out, Groves beat him fair and square the better man won on the night. How the **** Degale got to fight for the european title before Groves is nothing less than a disgrace... Groves will knock the **** out of Smith, Groves has beaten a better opponent in Anderson who would beat Paul Smith, im that confident in that i would put my months wages on it.

 

Degale is Quicker but not stronger i dont think you really know what your on about....

 

If you read the posts StealCity was saying a rematch between Groves and James Degale would be a better test. :deal

Bollocks. It wasn't like DeGale took over in the late rounds and Groves scraped it. Most of the scoring for DeGale is because he was hitting Groves' arms.

DeGale isn't skilled. He has fast hands, good reflexes, terrible footwork and the worst punching technique I've seen on a "top prospect" in a long time. Outside of his limited physical gifts, he's really nothing special.

I'm not big on the Smith match, but it's a decent fight and it should be fun. Groves winning it will be as obvious and uneducational as when DeGale won it.

 

I did read the posts. But it's a pointless fight because Groves has already beaten him. This is not difficult to follow.

 

If Groves beats smith then early 2012 James Degale and Groves are going to have their rematch and with out any doubts Degale will beat Groves the ring won't be big enough for George to run.:yep

You know and I know that James won that fight.

 

Look mate Kell Brook the man in your avator picture thats a man who can fight at world level, you can see him competeing against elite fighters, James Degale against Froch, Ward, Bute, Kessler, Dirrel the list goes on, James Degale would get smashed up in 4 rounds by any of them guys so whats the point in you trying to hype him up......

James lost clearly. Groves and Booth will not accept a rematch unless it's for a world title. DeGale has done nothing to deserve the fight.

How do you work that one out?

Groves and Degale fought out of the same amateur club, Groves entered the ABA's in Degales weight class knowing there was a possibility he could face Degale. He fought and beat Degale then went on to win an ABA title that year.

Then as a pro, he made sure that by fighting Kenny Anderson at a similar time Degale was to fight Smith he would be the #1 contender for the British title. Both of them won and Groves immediately looked to take the fight, both had tune ups, the purses were agreed and the fight was made.

Groves then kept tight to his game plan and in my opinion, won a deserved close decision. Think when I scored it, I gave it to Groves by 2 rounds.

That comment is just laughable.

 

Reading your posts it's pretty clear it's the other way around. Also, I have a simple stat that proves my point every single time:

Groves 2-0 DeGale.

 

It's laughable if you a Grove fan and you dislike Jame Degale:good
but you will be disapointed when they fight early 2012 and thats a fact.
