Some of the sparring sessions at the local Thai boxing gym are ridiculous.

They don't appear to actually be working on anything, just knocking seven bells out of each other. One of the lads sparred a Thai who was over and was getting the better of it until he was pushkicked out of the ring and through the window.

Another two lads who are quite good mates absolutely tore into eachother for three rounds, was a bit like Carl Thompson vs Ezra Sellars.

 

I thought Groves edged it by a round. A draw would've been good with me too.

Groves really won that fight with his smarts though. Degale for me is the better fighter but Groves is by far the smarter and knows his limitations and identity MUCH more. He ambushed him. That can sometimes trump the guy who is better if the levels are not so far apart.

 

Groves is better than DeGale.

 

Will the DeGale v Savania fight be on TV? I'm guessing it won't be on BoxNation!

I seen him spar bellew u they were brutal spars specially with bellews power, people would pay to watch an defo would not be disapointed

I don't mind degale all the cockiness in sportsman doesn't bother me as long as they can back it up.

But I imagine degale would be someone who took liberties in sparring especially against lesser boxers than himself, a way to boost his ego. That's where jim mc should be reigning him in and teaching.

I beleive so becasue they will have the rights to Kessler vs Steiglitz.

 

Yes it all becomes clear, ha! Its not too often I say a bad things about a boxer as I like to support all the Brits, but DeGale, and mainly due to the build up to the Groves fight, I just want to see him get knocked out.
