Good point his profile should be higher seeing as he is the first British Olympic gold medalist to become a world champion
He has pride and totally ashamed at losing to Chris Eubank Jnr - Caleb Truax was bad enough but this was the final straw for his pride.
From what I know (which I don't claim to be everything..) he has basically been on one long, never ending holiday since he got beat by Eubank and retired. I'm actually glad. Talented fighter no doubt at his best was world class for a brief period, but no where near as good as he thought he was. Also extremely annoying and cringeworthy at times, so not having him on the scene is no loss as I found him very hard to warm too.
Well considering you named yourself after him, you should be telling us why he is so silent, you obviously have a poster of him on your wall!!
In fairness to James I wasn't a huge fan of him initially but he done well to reinvent himself and had a rough run of fights towards the back end of his career. His career was in free fall from the second half of the Badou Jack fight. I knew he was done when he struggled so badly in tbe second Truax fight. I think he achieved what he could in the end. He was a good fighter but not elite. Its a tough game
Quite right - he made a few bob and shouldn't need to work again if he's been well advised. He was never the sharpest tool in the box doing the rounds of IFL-style videos either so he wouldn't add much to the group of pundits (not that he'd make them much worse, mind).
