Bernstein overselling both Joyce's and Stiverne's power.

Joyce finally gets the stoppage. Some question marks about his power and variety but he should still be too good for Charr if that fight gets made.

Joyce carried Stiverne for a while there. Realised that a fresh Stiverne in round 1 couldn’t really hurt him so got some rounds in. You can see the difference between him going through the gears when he wants to bring the heat and when he would just rather play with him.

His style is nuts though. The archetypal mummy. So slow, but can really club when he wants and just walks forward. Very little defence but a decent chin by the looks of things. Couldn’t be a truer personification of the mummy.

That's what his performance was all about tonight. If he landed the lucky punch, great. If not, he stays a legit gatekeeper, good for a few more Big Macs.

Joyce clearly lacks a really big punch, problem he has he's so slow, people have time to brace for impact even if they can't get out of the way. When he does land on guys when they don't expect he seems to hurt them but that happens so rarely.

He's far too open as well, while he showed a solid chin vs this version of Stiverne, imagine if it was Wilder, Joshua, Whyte, Povetkin or Ortiz landing on him.

Joyce has excellent work-rate, strong, good jab. But Stiverne and Hanks have caught him recently, fortunately neither had enough power to stop him. But Chisora/Whyte both would.

Joyce easily beats Hughie Fury though.

Michael Hunter VS Joyce - i would love to see that fight, naturally that would be a FOTY candidate, the styles would mesh beautifully.
