Corbett isn't even a top 20 all time HW. None of the guys pre dempsey would even be contenders in the heavyweight division after 1937.

Corbett easily. It would be very difficult for any slugger to catch Corbett over 12-15 rounds in a big ring. Lots of space in there, Corbett was extremely elusive and could be elusive over the entire distance. Unless he gets caught it's a shutout win for Jim.

Oh sure, Tua had the conditioning and tenacity of Sharkey! ( Hint of sarcasm ). Sharkey was the Rocky Marciano of his time.

In 12 rounds in a large ring, Tua gets outboxed. Corbett's maneuverability and speed, combined with a height advantage and better out fighting skills mean he'd win the majority of the rounds. Sure Tua could land a bomb, but he didn't vs Chris Bryd. In fact, Byrd hit him and Tua punked out.

Based on punches landed by Choysnki, Jackson, and Jeffries, Corbett is unlikely to be KO'd by one punch.

All Tua's opponents had height advantages they looked the same laying down.Sharkey was a 5'8 " 185lbs man he beat Corbett like a drum,..Sharkey was 40lbs lighter than Tua had one tenth of his boxing ability and was a wide open clumsy dirty brawler. Choynski was a novice ,he shouldn't even be mentioned .

Fitz who scaled 157lb s for their fight ko'd Corbett with one left hook to the solar plexus.
Tua does not have to ko Corbett with one shot he can wear him down he had good lateral movement .
The trouble with you picking Tua to stop Corbett is it would make your hero Jeffries look a c*nt having to come from behind and taking 23rds to do it!

I can see this fight going like that part of the frazier foreman fight where it looks like frazier is literally running away and foreman kind of just clubs him from behind and frazier falls down. Tua kills Corbett, only way corbett wins is if tua dies of exhaustion from chasing him
