    Holyfield beat the best list IMO, Holmes, Foreman, Tyson, Bowe, Douglas but nobody takes simple list seriously in isolation. Hank Griffin beat a green Jack Johnson and nobody else of note. Martin beat Armstrong, Childs, McVea, Russel, Ferguson and Hank Griffin if you like lists!

    Martin was the Coloured heavyweight champ until Johnson beat him, he was seen as the best of the black fighters around.
