    I feel like Jeffries gets to him under both distances, I don’t think he could outfight Jeffries on the inside, nor do I think he could run from him or take his body blows for long. Tunney could not put a dent in Jeffries so even if we take the stereotype of Jeffries as a literal punching bag Tunney still won’t be effective here.

    Both men had fought 15 pro fights.
    Tunney his harder than Corbett,and had a better chin.I see no reason for him not to go one better that Gentleman Jim.
    An ancient, 2 years retired Fitz hit Jeffries when and where he wanted,before his hands gave out on him and the 12 years age difference and the huge disparity in weight told on him.
    Tunney turns Jeffries face into raw hamburger and he had the wheels to keep clear of those mighty left swings to the body.U Dec or Tko for Tunney depending on the era the fight is made.
