Wrong. They had the Red carpet rolled out for him along with HBO selling his story before he ****ed it up and was thrown back in the slammer. If you were in GBPs position and had already invested so much time and money into the guy, only to have him fall back into incarcertation, I'm sure you would be pissed, too.

Then to top it all off, they bring him back after he gets released for a second time, get him some more prime HBO time against a fighter who can make him look good (Ishida), and he gets absolutely destroyed.

THEN they go and offer up the BIGGEST NAME at that weight, and he turns it down.

Kirkland has no one to blame but himself for not getting coddled by his promoters now.
