If he decides to fight on...

    154lbs is a dead issue...

WOw! I know he was on probation for armed robbery or something like that. But 2 years just for trying to buy a gun from a gun show, and in the land of the gun. Ridiculous. Plaxico Burress also got 2 years on gun charges.

Bloody weird how in America some of these guys get harsh sentences, like Michael Vick for Dogfighting, when they didn't hurt no one really. And then you get guys who actually were involved in or responsible for incidents where people were killed like Ray Lewis, Donte Stallworth, Leonard Little, David Wesley, Jasyon Williams and Rampage, and they get away scot-free.

Anyway, what a waste. Was looking forward to this guy ruling the division. Hope he can come back from this.

You think dog-fighting doesn't hurt anyone? maybe not people, but its certainly not right. Boxers fight with fists, dogs rip each other apart and kill eachother, and are forced to do it. I lost a lot of respect for RJJ when I found out he was involved in **** fights. Likewise the G-Man and his dog fights. G-Man was always a dangerous ****er though.

Well it's not right, but he didn't kill no-one like those other athletes that got off. I just find it weird that a nation which encourages it's citizens to have guns can jail these guys for having guns, but allow those other guys who were doing something illegal which led to deaths of innocent people to get off so easy.

I can't make head nor tail of American Law, isn't there like some little place in Texas where its against the law NOT to have a gun?

    wtf??????

waste of a career??? He's not getting 2 years dude, he got a reduced sentence that can be as low as 6 months for good behavior. Chill dude fighters go to jail all the time. He actually caught a break here. Just an extended layoff. He can keep up his fitness in prison, and stay as sharp as he can and Ann will be waiting for him once he gets out the bing:good

I'm actually very relieved, this could actually work to the benefit of his career. It can ground and focus him, and make him more serious about the sport. Hey gotta take one step back to go two steps forward sometimes. Everyone makes mistakes in life, its how you rebound that matters

He can still keep fit, and if they have a boxing programme he could train some of the guys to keep himself busy, could be worse.

could be a sh*tload worse. Like I said this could be a blessing in disguise for him. Time to seperate himself from the negative influences, clear his mind, and focus himself on boxing and the things that are important to him
