What should he do after this?

    Kirkland's recent bouts.

    Alex Horlos ( 15-3-2 ) UPCOMING
    Dennis Sharpe ( 17-7-3) W KO 1
    Nobuhiro Ishida ( 22-6-2) L TKO 1

This is his second fight since the upset. Afterwords, what should he do? Poll Coming.

After this second "comeback" fight, he needs to step it up a bit. Sergio Mora is not a banger, then again neither was Ishida, but he's gotta take some risk in his return and get some rounds in if he's gonna prove ANYTHING at all in this sport.
I wouldnt be surprised though if Horlos doesn't expose him again. I watched Kirkland get up quickly from those Ishida shots, but he went back down even quicker.
Is it his chin or his heart? Hopefully it's a question of heart ala Wlad. Perhaps he can overcome it and continue moving forward.

How the hell could this guy take some huge Bombs from Joel Julio?

That Japanese guy knocked him silly with a JAB!!!

Rematch Ishida, after seeing him fight with Julio and Vera and never get hurt I say the Ishida fight was a fluke. There should some urgency to rematch Ishida because someone like Chavez can come along and expose Ishida and rob Kirkland of some redemption.

He's staying active. Who gives a **** who's next. I don't see Kirkland in with a top fighter for another year at the soonest.

It'll be another nobody next. He won't be stepping up to anyone even on the level of Ishida for a while.

He'll probably fight another bum next but Mora would be ideal at this point. Is Yuri Foreman fighting still? He's featherfisted enough that he'd be a safe option.

Ishida II. Whats up with hbo are they ******ed? Ishida, Japanese, produced an upset after the tragedy in Japan it was the perfect chance to ride the monentum and make this guy a draw or a crossover star. I wanted to see more of Ishida who was looking like a Cinderella Man and I was one of the minority that did want Ishida-Williams to happen because Ishida deserved it, but many claiming it would of been a mismatch. Now I know Ishida might of produced another upset or held his own vs Pwilly. Just like with Sergio, they falling asleep with this guy. A rematch with Kirkland will prove if it was a fluke or not. Foreign fighters like Sergio and Ishida need too have a fight in their native country so they can bring them back to American venues. **** I think I would do a better job promoting these guys they deserve better. As for James they wanna play it safe then Mora or an easy fight, but Mora has potential to make him look bad win or lose.

Kid just got knocked out by a non-puncher a few months ago, got out of prison less than a year ago, and changed trainers just about a month ago. He needs to get back to basics and stay busy, like when he was just a prospect. Once he remembers how to move his head, then step him up a bit.

BUMP any updates what Kirkland does next? He won this fight pretty quickly so I'd figure he'll be back in the ring pretty soon

Why not Chavez. If he can't beat Chavez, he isn't good.

I don't think Chavez would fight him.
