James Kirkland is a beast and his trainer is an animal

Kirkland obviously needs to work on upper body movement n using that jab more but he's relentless. Anne Wolfe is no nonsense I think she has a good career ahead of her as a trainer.

 

He's also flat footed as hell and has a very bad defense.

 

Yeah Kirkland is an animal. his boxing skills are great. he was throwing straight lefts and double jabbing before going inside. yeah heed needs to move his head more but the guy is coming to kill anybodys ass. To me, Kirkland is like a baby Tyson but with better boxing skills. THERES NO WAY ANYBODY IS GOING 12 ROUNDS WITH KIRKLAND!! The only way he loses is by KO but Juilo has got alot of power and never really stunned him. who at 154 has power like Juilo?? not Santos or Forrest. Kirkland to domintae for a ong time.

 

His alright, historically, fighters like him always wind up being KO'd due to their bad defense. He has a lot of work to do to become and elite fighter, IMO it's too little too late.

 

atsch WTF, how could anyone say he has more skill than Tyson, Kirkland doesn't have any defense at all, No head/body movement, Nothing, Tyson was better than dude in every way possible.

 

Easy with the hype. He beat a tough guy in Julio but there are better fighters and boxers that are going to explore his weaknesses. I was impress by his performance and I think that he's going to win a world title at some point. But I do believe that he is going to lose if he fights in the near future guys like Paul Williams or the ghost. I'm waiting for his fight with Angulo some day

The only Tyson you could possibly be talking about in the above paragraph is Tyson Fury because it sure as hell cannot be Mike Tyson!

you guys are acting like Tyson have threw a sraight right or even a jab. Tyson was the **** but his boxing skills wasnt all that. Tyson defense was way better but Kirkland is only 24, I just call him baby Tyson.

No disrespect, but what power? This is what HBO lead people to believe. Who of note did he KO that would make you or I believe he has this power that would KO a good contender. Like I said before, he couldn't even get Kirkland's attention with that so called power. Someone with pop and can box will eventually beat him. Or like you said by KO. Better skills then Tyson? You possibly are not talking about a prime Tyson due to Tyson having great head movement, speed via hands and feet. Kirkland is a diamond in the rough. We will see.
