i know a guy who is one of the nicest ppl, but in sparring he knows how to switch on. he will beat you till you cant take no more. however, he wont sucker punch you and he wont continue swinging at you whilst your head is acting like a bobblehead

Exactly. There's hard sparring and then there's hard sparring and trying to KTFO a hurt guy and sucker punching him for good measure.

That's awful, the two jabs that dropped Kirkland and that right wouldn't have even hurt me. Before someone calls me an e-warrior, I've been hit by pros a lot scarier than Ishida.

This tells me that Kirkland has an absolutely worthless chin. Case closed on this guy. Kirkland can talk all the **** he wants, I've been hit by much bigger shots by presumably bigger punchers than that and not dropped. Something might be physically wrong with the dude, that's not normal.

"You were supposed to be cannon-fodder for Kirland!" - Kellerman
    :rofl Damn, son!

All these mother****ers saying this kind of sparring is normal have probably little to no experience in an actual world-class boxing gym. I've seen plenty of dudes go at it with everything, but when one guy is just getting battered and not defending himself, you stop it - you aren't trying to TKO anyone in sparring.

HE HAS THAT HEADGEAR-He don't have to worry about his chin getting cracked as much, thus he can be more wreckless and more of a "cold monster."

ONCE you get that headgear off, his fukin chin is fragile glass-Kirkland is overrated on this forum by far-

    He lost to Ishida...enough said.

coordination and accuracy should be worked on when your man is covering up. As long as Kirkland is consistently landing, it's OK that the other fighter cover up-with that said, you don't wanna cover up all day and night as a sparring partner...mix it up and make Kirkland use more versatility in his fight game.

After he beats Molina it will be intersting who steps up. He would destroy Mosley but I think he would have a great match vs Canelo.

I find it laughable that so many people on this forum want us to pretend as if he is an Iron Chinned Warrior because he assaults his sparring partners, talks tough, and carries a gun. He is a Glass Jawed Hype Job who is wobbled and dropped by jabs. He has no Chin. None.:lol::rofl:patsch

He may not possess the greatest chin, in fact.. I would call it weak.

BUT, historically, there are fighters who achieved great things despite their disastrous chins. So Kirkland must not be underrated because of one lacking attribute in his game.
