its really jealousy when it comes down to it. they feel theyre better but they dont like the fact that we have the best ATGs. theres way more mexicans in boxing then african americans nowadays yet Floyd is #1 P4P, Ward is #6 P4P, and Bradley is #7 P4P. the only mex in the top 10 is Marquez(which Floyd beat). its jealousy IMO. theyre the first ones to criticize black boxers.

Do you know Kirkland enough to say that he has a bad attitude? How do you hate somebody, because they don't have a great chin? That's the first time I've ever heard that one before. As far as his felony record is concerned, don't you think it's also odd to dislike someone over that? Everyone including you makes mistakes and stupid decisions. How do you know he isn't trying to improve himself and become a better person? Would you hate Kirkland if he was your family member? If you hate a person that you don't know over things that don't have anything to do with you, then you may have some deep seeded issues that go a lot farther than boxing.

 

Nothing at all gained by KOing helpless nobodies during sparring. I'm almost tired of seeing Kirkland sparring footage altogether. If he wants to contend he's gonna need to step up his competition in sparring and spend some $$$.

And Anne aint helping his cause by letting him do this **** either....she should beforcing him to work on his defense and footwork moreso than his already dominating and powerful aggression.:-(

 

"Chin BS"? So having a Chin is bull**** now? You are a ****ing moron. The simple fact that he cannot take a punch means that he will likely be an also-ran at the highest levels of Boxing. The guy was flattened by a jab from a feather fisted Japanese guy and stopped in a minute or so. He was not drained or whatever excuse you can concoct, he just got blasted out. If he was drained the jab and follow-up right from Angulo would not have had the same effect as Ishida's, but unfortunately, for anyone wanting to pretend that Kirkland's Chin wasn't the issue, it did have the same effect. He was down in thirty seconds.

The difference in these two showings was the fact that Ishida continued boxing and letting the shots come naturally whereas Angulo simply went ape**** and bashed crude punches into the arms of a guy who was in a complete defensive shell. Jelly Jaw James was being handled until Angulo blew his wad and that happened in the first round after the ridiculous flurries that didn't connect. This is not conjecture, it is not opinion, it is fact. Anyone who wants to can go back and watch the fight and see exactly what I described happen.

None of my opinion has **** to do with his race and this can be clearly borne out by looking at my posting history. Most of my favorites fighters of all-time are black. I am a huge fan of Floyd and believe that he is unequivocally the best fighter today and the best fighter of his generation by a long shot. My all-time favorites are SRR, SRL, Ali, Frazier, Lewis, Sweet Pea, Meldrick Taylor, Joe Louis, Hagler, Hearns, Bob Foster, Michael Spinks, Holyfield, Marciano, LaMotta, Izzy Vasquez, JMM, Tyson, Foreman, Hearns, Benn, Eubank, JCC, Gatti, Ward, Morales, MAB, Monzon, and Duran. Out of that entire list of thirty fighters exactly eleven are not black. Yeah, it's my racist stupidity that has compelled me to "hate on" Kirkland.

On the flip side, there are plenty of black fighters I do not like and I will tell you why. Kirkland has the worst Glass Jaw I've ever seen on a rated fighter. With his head-first style and wide open defense there is no chance that he will amount to much of anything. I do not like Ward because of his blatant fouling, ugly "style", if you can call it that, but if he continues fighting like he did against Froch then I might change my mind. Dirrell is a cowardly, Glass Jawed quitting disgrace and a bad actor, to boot. Williams has a Glass Jaw and is a sucker for any Southpaw, Berto is a no-skilled and no-Chinned fighter in the vein of Kirkland, and that about covers today's top black fighters.

I was a fan of B-Hop but in his later years he has developed into a miniature clone of John Ruiz and between that boring style change, his constant complaining in-ring, and his racist statements outside of it, I don't care about him anymore. Likewise, I was a huge fan of Mosley but his last few showings were disgraceful and I'd rather not see him in even one more major fight.

You have a deep seated issue that is readily evident in this post and it is the fact that you obviously cannot read. I never said that I hated him. I am simply not a fan because his style added to his pathetic Chin equals lots of embarrassing KOs and no longevity in this sport, at all.

I don't care about the fact that he carries a gun to make up for his Glass Jaw and I don't care if he abuses his sparring partners. I do not care about outside the ring **** whatsoever, I was simply explaining why many people dislike the guy. I dislike him because he was touted as a wrecking machine and he turned out to be a Glass Jawed Fraud. I do not find him to be a good or even moderately skilled fighter and he will flame out like most Hype Jobs.

 

You don't know who he has for sparring, you don't know what his sparring routine actually looks like, you don't know what they work on.

You see a few sparring videos and think you know how his whole camp is structured then speak out of your ass.

The mental gymnastics that people go through to make themselves hate Kirkland is astounding. He is a likeable guy that fights hard and gives his all in the ring and I don't see what else you can ask for from a fighter.

Look at how vile your posts are dude. You clearly have some issues here. Are you seriously trying to insult me because I used the word hate instead of dislike? You said that you don't like him because he has a shitty attitude, a felony record and a glass jaw. Now you're telling me that you don't care if has a prison record, but you were the one who brought it up in the first place as one of the reasons that you don't like him.

Just by reading your comments, it's clear to me that you don't like him as a person and you said so yourself. His attitude and his record have nothing to do with boxing, so why else would include those in your reasons for not liking him? To dislike him because he has a "glass jaw" is stupid too. You need to get your story straight and stop being so angry.

You say that you don't like him, because he was touted as a wrecking machine and that he's really a glass jawed fraud? Is it his fault how people viewed him? Angulo's a big puncher and he was touted as a wrecking machine too. Kirkland showed a lot of heart in their fight right before he put Perro to sleep. I'm sure Angulo might actually agree with all the people who thought Kirkland was a bad ass. His chin might not be great, but it's obviously not glass either. Maybe he will flame out, but it still doesn't change the fact that you have legit hatred for this man that you've never met before.
