Kirkland is caught twice flush at 2:20-25. Once again is nailed bang on the chin at 2:36

If this guy spent a little less time cheap shotting his sparring partners, bullying them and hell for leather trying to KO them he might just learn something.

I expect Canelo to finish him off and Ill be grateful when he does.

The thing is, Kirkland has already been a "KO" it's not waiting to happen it has happened. We all know Kirkland is easy to hit, he will never be a slickster, he just gets in there and brawls.

Whatsoever!!! People are sold on him because he beat Angulo, who was beaten by Cintron. Are you guys serious? These fights are to build confidence in Canelo. The man is a world champion and is treated like he just started. GBP will never know how good Alvarez is if they continue to protect him.

He has improved mentally and motivationally from there but maybe it's a lil bit too soon to get those learnings solid but, hey, he's going against a 21 year older who despite being a phenomena, surely has flaws too. Kirkland was very commited and focused on the Angulo fight and Canelo will not be able to reproduce that last controversial Molina performance either. Let's speak the truth here. Has canelo's chin been tested, let's put it the other way around?

Well what is Kirkland doing in there? Looks like the same old overmatched guys getting assaulted head on.

What im getting it is that following the Ishida loss shouldnt they be putting some defensive work in? Slips, parries, head movement? No its just more of the same. I might even be a little bit perturbed if I didnt think JK is an utter lowlife.

Alvarez is technically sound and goes to the body. Easy stoppage for Canelo.

Is this thread before the Ishida fight or after that?

i guess he should just go retire and give up and go back to his job as human resource manager for one of the two fortune 500 companies that are waiting on him to come back and go to work

Who cares? The guy is a heavy handed brawler who 15 years ago would have been a main stay on TV. Just enjoy his fights. I sure do.

This is another good test for Canelo he should stop Kirkland and the test is how he does it.If he just blows him away good if he has a hard time bad but this is the one I want to see a methodical beat down that will show he has arrived.

everyone knows james kirkland is a ko waiting to happen. that adds to his appeal though. I wonder how often he gets dropped in sparring.
