Yep, it's over now. He's finished. Stick a fork in the guy 'cause he's done for. Poor ol' BigReg must be sobbing his eyes out right about now. :yep

Oh well, it just saves him the beatings he would have taken once he stepped up to the elite fighters of the division. Finally I can say goodbye to this hype train. :hi:

He better hope to god that GBP decides to burn money on him and appeal and fight that **** like a mother****er and get him the best deal possible.

He is going to be doing time regardless.

Jesus christ, Im seriously, SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF, about this.

Why would he need a ****ing .40 heater? And then he gives his women money to buy ammo? And he already was up for probation revocation in another incident?

How can anyone be that ****ing immature and nonsensical? He had no idea of what he was risking if he honestly believed his actions werent gonna come back and **** with him

It sounds like he was probably involved in some other **** that required him to have protection his fists couldn't provide. I doubt this is just about him wanting a gun for no good reason.

I was never really that impressed with Kirkland. It seemed like he ate a helluva lot of punches in his fights. Exciting yes, but probably not going to get it done against the upper echelon fighters.

Edit: LOL JR beat me to it.

Well it depends on how tough they decide to get on him, he has been clean since 03 so they might just give him a slap on the wrist

Dumbass fool. He was a young, and exciting fighter. Even in defeat against the elites he'd still have many fans, and would earn a lot of $ (a Gatti of the sport).
I feel no compassion for him though. Hopfully he learns from this this time. He's probably DONE...

I was just double checking to make sure it was Texas before I posted and came back to this. You are a step up tonight dude!

Forget black though. Feds, Texas, Gun. I don't know Texas law, but little doubt in my mind there is a mandatory sentence for the gun. NO way out of that one. Automatic revocation of parole. So, whatever time he didn't serve before he serves now.

Texas has some of the harshest gun laws in the country, and harshest sentencing for repeat offenders period.

Its ironic, as Texas loves guns and it is easy to purchase them there, however

****ING UP with a gun is not something they let go. Its sort of the attitude of "were gonna let you own your weapons, but you cant **** it up"

Plus, its ****ing Texas, and Texas courts, a hood sounding ghetto boy that has already done time and is on probation aint gonna get sympathy.

GBP is going to have to put cash into this and stall for time and try everything possible to keep him out of prison.

Because he is looking at hard time. They are going to need to push the mother of all deals. Extended probation, monthly drug checks, ankle braclet, unannounced visits, whatever.

Oh, and to mention, probation and parole are two different things. Probation=County Jail time, Parole=state prison time

So he spent time in county jail for awhile, he aint been to state though.

Thanks for that info. I've never been caught so I didn't have to worry about the distinction.
