What a moron. I don't feel bad if it is but you hate to see a young fighter like him have his career end. It's just like Plaxico Burress. I am a huge NYG fan and I could care less he ****ed up. He deserves whatever comes his way.

Well now he will be more focused than ever. Let him train and spar in there. Set up a ring. Bring sparring partners in. Anne Wolfe won't fear those inmates. Then HBO can do a reality show.

    "JK from Put Away".

Every season of the reality show would culminate in a Kirkland fight. So the reality show would serve as a 24/7 series as well.

    First up Dzindriuk.

Can you imagine? Kirkland is losing, then an inmate throws something at Dzindriuk from the crowd. Kellerman screams "Hey You!!!! Stop that you rotten person!!" Someone grabs him from behind. He turns. Only to see Bob Poppa, Lennox and the entire HBO crew have fled the building! Max gets dragged off into a cell and dealt with....

I enjoyed watching Kirkland fight. How disappointing this news is, I hope he will be able to fight again.

Yup. Ano not like a "3years I can plea bargain down to ten months;" its 3 years off rip. No argument, no flex sentencing. I have a feeling he will do about that much in a law and order state like TX.

Don't get my hopes up man

Seriously though, the kicker in all this (and I can't be the first one to see the irony here) is that the dumb ass mo****er pays his girl to buy ammo for him and buys the ****ing gun himself.

Really, James? That's the **** facepalms are made of.

He could camp at K-mart and buy ammo by the truckload himself without violating probation. Why the hell didn't he just buy the ammo and have his girl get the gun in her name if he wanted it that bad?? :silly

Those inmates would probably fear Ann.

Well lets see, he was on probation for armed robbery in 03, then had the misfortune of getting caught in a gun runner sting operation.. My thought based on that information alone , maaan that mother ****er is done like last year..

He wouldn't have gone that far anyway imo. I dont know why people think he is or was such a hot prospect.

I know there have been some sanctioned bouts inside of prisons before, but I highly doubt that a Texas warden would allow that kind of thing. I remember a few years back in Thailand, there was a woman prisoner, won the world title while she was in prison, and the King gave her a pardon because she had won the world title.

Actually, that idea would be interesting as hell. It's like Oz 24/7.

As for the original question, I guess it really depends on how long he's locked up for. If it's only two years or so, plenty of guys have come back from that.
