a judge voided out kirklands contract claiming it was invalid after james took them to court.

for a judge to deem a contract invalied from a promtional company there was either fraud, misrepresentation or bad faith involved.

and yes, anyone saying cotto ko 1 is a pure idiot. james would in all likelihood brutally waste miguel.

kirkland makes it past the sixth round with any 154 he has a good chance at the ko.

a promotional company wants the rights to a fighter for as many fights as they can get. do you really think sms paid james for his three fights up-front?

and its not like they paid a non-refundable signing bonus or anything like that. if james gets his act together then they have three fights to capitalize on him. if he doesnt no loss to sms and no money out of pocket as kirkland will get paid for each individual fight on a fight-by-fight basis.

im sure that sms wanted a ten-fight contract.
