    From Fat Dan :

Pretty risky fight for Kirkland to take after his inactivity. Good fight if it comes off, though. . I think Kirkland gets stopped early or either wears Tapia down late.

I wonder if Kirkland's promotional issues are behind him....

Who is training Kirkland now?? I'd hope Ann Wolfe & Pops Billingsly have kicked him out. They gave him chance after chance & he let them down

Kirkland's glass jaw gets shattered into 1 billion itty, bitty pieces.

    (In before the chinchecker squad.)

Did he sign with 50cent? I remember his last interview from the summer -he's been in training the whole time but never said with who. I hope he comes back strong, yeah he screwed Anne and Pops over in a slimy way, but he still brings excitement to the sport.

The only person who could train him right was Wolfe, and we know how he ****ed that up. He'll never be the same.

Wolfe's training would've eventually been physically detrimental, not too mention mentally exhausting. He's not a young man anymore, Wolfe didn't bring too much in terms of technique. I like what she did for him and disgusted how he repayed her, but eventually he needed to move on.

Really good fight if it happens, risky for both. I think with the time off, bad chin, and chaos around Kirkland that Tapia beats him. Hope this fight happens.

I don't see how anyone is going to be able to deal with him the way she did. The best thing he could have done was have a shorter, but more meaningful career with her. Yeah she didn't do much for technique, but he'll be too stubborn now to try and change his ways with someone else. I hope I'm proven wrong because I really liked Kirkland, but I don't see him doing anything worthwhile from now on.

im suprised gbp is putting tapia there with james.

kirkland is the most accomplished puncher at 154. ktfo vera when smw chavez couldnt even put him down.

knocked down molina fighting with a torn right shoulder.

I could be wrong but I thought Tapia was with Top Rank. But your point still stands this is a dangerous fight and big step up for Tapia.

Dominicans generally don't do **** in this sport. I give Kirkland a very good chance.

Who else is Ann Wolfe training??

    That's right...........NOBODY...

    They sold James out.

    He deserves a REAL trainer.
