Right there with you. The highlight of my pre-teenage years was when I bought a pack of Pokemon cards as a 9-year old and found a mint-condition Charizard card. I couldn't even sleep that night I was so ****ing excited. Looking back, I'd gladly trade that moment for watching some of the great 1990s fights live as they happened. ...or would I? :huh This content is protected :yep
It's fully understandable that you'd have trouble with that choice. Every kid back in the day would have killed to have that card. I know. I got one in a pack on my birthday as a 7 year old. I pretty much had the most joyous reaction I would have of the entire decade. I seemed to be a lot luckier many years ago than I am today
The PERFECT birthday present. Doesn't get any better than that. If anybody wants to talk a little boxing, you can find me on http://www.pokecommunity.com/ I'll be taking a break from here in an attempt to recapture the innocence and joy of my childhood. It's been a pleasure, boys.
Kirkland gives Vargas all he wants early.. As Vargas welcomes Kirklands straight ahead .But even giving Kirkland the only chance he has ,Vargas still gets the best of him.. Both guys trade knockdowns but Vargas shows hes a level higher and puts the finishing touches on Kirkland Vargas Ko 5..
Haha this Kirkland hype is hilarious, a face first brawler with a shaky shaky chin against Vargas? I'd be surprised to see Kirkland make it out of the second round.
I had the benefit of being loosely interested in both at that point. So much so that I may have a Pokemon Red cartridge hidden away somewhere with a level 12 Charmander called Oscar.
