James Kirkland vs Antonio Margarito

The Margarito that fought Pacquiao would give James a good fight.. Im not sure who would win!

 

Margarito would not lose to the ishida.

1. I'm saying that Margarito>Angulo. Noone is saying that he is Sweet Pea reincarnated so quit being so self righteous

2. The Williams fight was probably your first Margo fight. So why are you arguing with me? If you saw some of his earlier fights, you would see that Margo has beaten carbon copies of Angulo by playing the role of boxer/ puncher.

3. Paul Williams has the height of a modest heavyweight and telephone poles for arms. A faded Winky Wright couldn't get out of the way of his punches. You expect Margo to? Not to mention the fact that Tony nearly won that fight.

4. Manny Steward said after the Cintron fight he was suprised how many punches Margarito picked off with his gloves.

5. Against a common opponent, Angulo has a loss while Tony has two KOs. Wait, it was the loaded gloves right? Wrong. Angulo could have had loaded gloves. It wouldn't have made a difference. He never touched Cintron.

Before the wraps, Margs could really bust a man up, cuts his brows all up, and swell his face up. Similar damage over 12 rds as JK did to Angulo last night in 6.

i kno margs got his ass kicked vs pac but he didnt do that bad in the fight. if margs still wants it an still sumthin left in the tank which he should but he been in alot of wars n hes been a pro sense he was a kid so who knows how long he wants to continue 2 fight . if he beat cotto i dont think he will fight kirkland i think there gunna really try n make kirkland vs canelo.

1. I'm saying Angulo is clearly AT THE LEAST the same level as Margarito, as shown in their respective fights.

2. I saw Margo against Santos, Golden Johnson, Kermit, Gomez, Lujan, Clottey, Williams, Cotto, and Mosley. Margo's attempt to "box" is laughable at best, I saw this when he fought Roberto Garcia. Fact is when he came on the scene against world class opposition he was a bully who brought pressure aided by his ability to take a punch and still push his opponent back, aka exact same gameplan as Angulo, except Angulo is stronger and bigger.

3. P-Will's height doesn't mean anything because he doesn't fight tall. P-Will beat Margo's ass on the inside, not by boxing him outside. And winning 8 - 4 Williams isn't "nearly" winning, it is a clear win. P-Will won the first 6 rounds and the 12th at the LEAST.

4. Manny Steward said with his help Cintron would beat Margo, Manny says a lot of ****.

5. Margo beating Cintron at 147 has what to do with saying Angulo and Margarito fight the same way? Now tell me what strategy did Margo employ in his fight with Cintron? Did he "box" him or did he bully his ass and beat him into submission late? Thanks for playing.

LIke I said earlier, Kirkland rapes the hell out of Margarito.

The Kirkland that lost to Ishida wouldn't have beaten Angulo last night, so obviously we know that the Ishida fight was a one off. You also ignore some of the solid blows that James took on the chin from Angulo in the middle rounds of the fight.

I konw this, Angulo didn't use loaded wraps for the biggest fight in his career.

 

Margarito would unprecedentedly get backed if he fought Kirkland. I suspect Marg's power, while off the back foot, would be severely diluted.

As far as I'm concerned, every fight before Mosley was wrapped fight. :-( Jus' sayin......and to think:think I used to be his biggest fan

What can Margo do that Angulo couldn't?

I do know that if Margo couldn't take the punishment from Shane who was right in his chest, he sure as hell isn't taking those same flush punches from Kirkland.
