This would be a fun slugfest.

I feel like Alvarez's accurate right hand would be big trouble for a slow starting Kirkland who has a tendency to come in cold and get surprised early as he has been down or stunned in other fights

Kirkland is guy thought that you dont want to get rolling because ive never seen a fighter beat him once he gets going. though he hasnt beaten anyone on the level of alvarez, alvarez hasnt faced a dangerous southpaw like kirkland with the power and relentless attack

could be a very short night for either guy

Kirkland already backed out twice. Kirklands thinking is just out of here

Not to say Canelo couldn't as well, but that was the one fight Kirkland didn't have Wolfe in the corner. You could tell even by his physique that things weren't the same. He does have a tendency to start slow, but if he makes it out of those first few rounds, it won't be an easy night for Canelo. Wolfe's training camps are known to be brutal, so unless Canelo knocks him cold, it's going to be hard to completely stop him.

Kirkland is a street punk If he is winning a fight he looks awesome but when things go wrong he folds. He didn't really beat Angulo. Angulo beat himself by punching himself out he was exhausted. Is Kirkland really still with Ann Wolfe?? He let Ann & Pops Billingsly down down so many times I'm surprised she doesn't kick his butt herself. She certainly was capable

Canelo would likely win this. But, if Kirkland can land something big, it might change the fight.

Yeah, Kirkland's got a bad glass jaw, and Alvarez - like the featherfisted Ishida did - will shatter it.:yep

Kirkland was offered to fight Canelo on December a few months ago. He declined and chose Rosado. When Canelo chose Clottey, Kirkland got off the Rosado fight. This guys thinking is messed up. He has only fought three times in the last three years. I don't know how he makes a living. I am pretty sure he was offered around 800 K to fight Canelo but he wanted more. Then he was offered 300 K for Rosado but he got out once Canelo called his bluff and chose clottey instead. Kirkland negotiations tactics are ****ty. Now he gets no money and remain inactive. Guy needs to get his head out of his ass
