    When has Kirkland ever gassed?

He is a big LMW too, I read he was over 170lb in the Angulo fight.

In quite a lot of his fights that have gone longer than about 5 rounds.

He doesn't 'gas' really, it's not that significant, but he begins to throw arm punches more and more, and added to that his already iffy defense goes even worse due to the fact his feet slow and he utilises even less upper body movement. When he goes 100mph from the first bell is when it becomes evident.

    Excellent fight

I really like Molina here , he is solid in all area's , i don't think Kirkland will go in there and " bomb him out " therefore we may see a more reserved James Kirkland looking to box more than he punches , Molina has a tight defence and solid timing , a well rounded fighter

    Carlos Molina UD 116 - 112

The 10 round element is a big factor, completely changes the way you look at the fight. If Kirkland goes out all guns blazing in the first 4, maybe gets a knockdown, its tough to come back from.

Absolutely agree , i think the fact its over 10 comes to the aid of Kirkland here

Very interesting match-up. Molina's chances are definitely good. Kirkland for all he has (power) is going to be unraveled sooner or later and Molina can definitely do it, I reckon. He's improved since his fight vs. Alvarado a lot, imo, and he put on a clinic vs Kermit the frog.

Kirkland's power and brute strength is what makes it a toss-up fight. It shall be very interesting, either way.

Molina beat Lara and Cintron very convincingly IMO. If he beats Kirkland, he should be the consensus no.1 at the weight IMO.

Definitely. It's been hard to pinpoint an exact number 1 in that division for a couple of years, ever since Martinez moved up.

Molina is almost the type of guy I've been wanting Kirkland to face. Providing he can make it past the first 5 or so rounds unscathed, he'll be asking a lot of questions. I'm worried about his speed and movement (foot), though. May not fully trouble Kirkland as well as some would.
