Two young, undefeated, left handed JMWs. Green is the more polished fighter. However, he is prone to making mistakes. He let Torres lure him into a brawl and looked sloppy. Kirkland isn't the best defensive fighter, but he brings the pain for 3 minutes every round. I think Kirkland would deposit Green's head into the 5th row by about round 6. So who do you have and why?

Two of my favorite prospects. I'd go with Kirkland to win this one.

    I'm picking Kirkland on this.

Kirkland will outwork and outwit Green.

Anything could happen here.. I would slightly favor Kirkland because I think he's more comfortable with brawling.

    Greene is a good boxer.

Not as sloppy as many make him out to be due to his last fight.

If the fight makes it out of the early rounds, Greene by UD, however if it doesn't Kirkland could pressure him into being stopped within 3. I still take Greene in this one.

Greene has got to be the most overrated prospect.
His fights with Okine and Torres were so illuminating.

His big problems (that he'll probably never be able to address):
Power punches are too f'n wide. He loops his hooks like no one else, leaves himself wide open.

His power shots are slow. For a smaller guy I was amazed at how slow he gets his shots off. These two reasons alone are enough for Kirkland to mop the floor with him.

The kid punches himself off balance. It happened with Torres, but even more so with Okine. You do that against anybody higher than a C+ fighter and they are going to exploit that.

His punch output is miserable. Watch his fight with Torres again. He'll go intervals of 10-20 solid seconds not doing a damn thing. Just standing there swinging his arms back and forth.

He can't keep his mouth shut. He wastes so much time jaw jacking to his opponent when he should be using his fists. To get this frazzled against an Okine and a Torres is obnoxious. Sure, Greene eventually KOd Okine. But that fight was ugly and depressing up until then.

He surrounds himself with morons. His corner, family and friends need to keep their mouths shut as well during the fight. If it's not ******ed "hype up" phrases their throwing out, it's conflicting bits of advice.
Worst of all, Greene will actually turn his head and engage his freakin' corner during the fight. He did it at least 3 times against Okine and about 4 times against Torres. That's a terrible habit to get into.

Well, not for my sake. I'm only watching his fights to see his sorry thug azz get dropped. If nothing else for the sake of giving that kid something humble to eat.

Kirkland takes him out whenever he wants to.

    No way.
Then you didn't see him v Okine.

Slow puncher, wide puncher, throws himself off balance.
    He is not good.

I wouldn't say Greene is prone to making mistakes.
I'd say Greene occassionally, by forces that transcend his actual abilities (luck), does something right.
