James Kirkland vs. Joe Greene

It looks like Greene's promoter is trying to get this fight or an Angulo fight made. Check out these quotes;

I think this would be a great fight for Kirkland. Greene is a stong guy with a seemingly sturdy beard. He also has a great amateur background and good overall boxing skills. Plus, he's a lefty. With so many good southpaws in the division, Kirkland will to get experience against other lefties. Fighting Greene will allow more questions to be answered about Kirkland as well as guage how ready he is to fighting for a title. Golden Boy should looking for Greene as Kirkland's next opponent.
