If Manny KTFO Kirkland, I'll publically take back every bad thing I ever said or thought about Manny. If he can really step up in weight and KTFO full fledged Junior Middleweights that walk around between 165-170lbs. That **** aint normal and it aint supposed to happen. I will say this: Theirs no way in HELL Floyd is KTFO Kirkland. But again for the record I feel Kirkland is too much for SuperPac!

I don't think Pac would clean knock his ass out, but I think he would TKO him after 8 rounds of everything he had. If Pac did spark him with one punch a la fatton, then he is definitely on roids. I also think Floyd would embarrass the **** out of Kirkland, shutout UD.

Some guy I used to work with was from the area that Kirkland grew up in, and he had a bunch of tapes of his early fights. He raved about the guy and so I borrowed the vids to see what the fuss was all about. Not impressed at all, then I watched any other fight of his to see if I was missing something. Nope, guy is a crude brawler, with an iron will, but not much else.

People on here build him up to be a mini 88 Tyson. Some even claim he got great handspeed.:huh. I just don't see it.

I think Nard took a lot from Kelly that night. Unfortunately.... Kelly was and still is very good,...but you're right. He has a hard time pulling the trigger these days.

I think Kirkland gets a little too hype and reckless that Manny would capitalize off openings.

But i love watching Kirkland in action, might be my fav fighter at the lower weights right now.

You couldn't be more wrong. Pavlik is a classic one, two puncher. He relies off a solid jab and a sledgehammer right hand. However, he seems to lack good footwork and good footspeed. His handspeed isn't that great either. This allows mobile fighters to get him out of position, which can neutrilize that right hand. Kirkland is a prototypical, swarming, pressure fighter. He actually has good handspeed and hits pretty hard with both hands. Kirkland has the ability to use good upper body movement, but it doesn't come naturally to him. He usually gets hit a couple of times before he decides to move his head.

Again, they are nothing alike. They are two completely different styles.

So you think he would beat top MW's? Shiiiit, I mean I understand what you're getting at to some degree, but he would get the **** beat out of him by natural MW fighters, IMHO. Come on dude, I understand the man is great fighter, but this is a bit much.

Pacquiao is not superman, and Kirkland is not Cotto or Hoya. Stylistically, Hatton is the Pac opponent whom Kirkland most resembles. That might sound like good news for Pac. However, what really helped Pac out against Hatton was that he was fighting at his optimal weight. Pac has excellent power at 140. It's more than enough to stop a swarmer in his tracks. At 154, no way should that be the case(assuming Pac is not in fact on steroids). If Pac can't stop Kirkland coming in, he'll get run over or he'll have to stick and move and outbox Kirkland.

Lol...I think you are mistaken if you think Kirkland would wilt or quit the way ODLH or Cotto did. I'm not saying Kirkland is "better" than ODLH or Cotto, but I assure you that he's tougher than either and is about the furthest thing from a punk, that I can think of in boxing.

That fight was hard to watch....Nard was so emotionally driven to prove a point and PAV was right in the way of a very focused and determined Bhop. That **** he did to PAV was just terrible. And I think it's affected Kelly's ability to be teh offensive force he most certainly was before Nard put that down on him.
