James Kirkland Wants Robert Garcia As His Trainer. Ready To Get Back

Why?

 

but who actually hyped him up? no one said he would beat the elites at 154

 

he is the only fighter to knock down molina and knock down and knock out a prime angulo.

that is more of an accomplishment of any current 154 fighter other than floyd(dlh/cotto).

 

I am a little disappointed with this, Robert is a great trainer and I am a Garcia fan and all...But I really like what Ann Wolfe was doing with Kirkland.....I am not sure we will see the same James.

Also at this point I think Robert Garcia is spread a little thin with the stable he has to where I think he will end up outsourcing or delegating alot of the Strengthening and Conditioning, Wolfe was notorious for over-seeing.


All in all, I am a James fan, but I think he is his own enemy and sabotages himself in more than one way

 

So where does that become litigious?

I've been wanting him to pair up with Garcia for a very long time now but after losing to ishida not sure if Garcia is the best choice for him.

It seems he doesn't have a leg to stand on, legally speaking - nor is there any compelling reason for him to be throwing a tantrum beyond frustrations with his career that are largely his own fault. :conf

 

So, Kirkland would essentially replace Margo in Garcia's stable; a brawler who would want to learn a little technique but be left alone to brawl.

 

I don't see anything after the Molina that is his fault.

/the injury is legit and I would be pissed off too if GBP tried to throw me in a fight after they tried to cash him out before (angulo) fight after a ****ing win against Molina.

I would also be pissed off at Ann for her behavior on HBO and no one has said **** about the supposed black pill he took that made him see double.

I would think at the least he has the right to drop wolfe and pops.

I think leaving Dunkin and GBP is acting on emotion at a real slight they directed at him.

 

Kirkland's best bet is to head to Northern Cali instead of So cal with Garcia's camp.. Virgil Hunter Stable with Ward, Kahn and Angulo, with fringe guys like Mayfield around could do good things for Kirkland.. Kahn and Angulo are getting some kinks worked out in their game, why not Kirkland..??

 

It is too late in Kirkland's career to start trying to learn how to "box" instead of refiniing what he already is.Virgil will try to make him a boxer, Garcia will make him a better brawler.

 

Kirkland's best days are over, especially if his shoulder isn't 100%. Wolfe's training was likely a major factor to his success in the ring. Garcia won't push as hard and we'll have another Kenny Adams incident with James getting sparked in a tune up fight.

GB seems to want and take advantage of his time away from fighting and the injury and feed him to Angulo.

 

Ronnie Shields would make him a much better fighter, and he's from Houston...why not?
