...except Nelson's is even worse, and he doesn't have 10% of Kirkland's firepower.

Of course, after the Ishida result we can't exactly be surprised if Kirkland ever finds a way to get taken apart by another featherfisted beanpole...still, I very much doubt it here.

 

Nelson will fold like a cheap tent under Kirkland's pressure. In his last fight, he was rocked by Cuello on several occasions and nearly got knocked out.

Nelson is legit.....it's a step up for him but I actually believe he can pull off the upset. Willie impresses me. Who lands first might decide the outcome. Willie kind of reminds me of a Paul Williams......less active a course but he fights tall but can bang on the inside if he needs to. Great fight.

 

This is a Kirkland showcase fight, nothing more. Building up future marketing angles.

True.....but he's tall and lanky like Paul and he's solid overall. If this fight were between Paul and Kirkland I would not hesitate to say he beats the sh*t out of James......this fight is a toss up. James is solid and so is Willie....James has the edge in power but I think the length and reach will cause Kirkland some problems.

 

I like this fight. Nelson is 6'3 81 inch reach, kirkland is barely 5'9
